Important Information

Before you start your Application please read the following information:

Unique Student Identifier

This program requires students to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). The USI creates a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia, even from different training organisations. This can be accessed online, anywhere, anytime.

If you have not yet obtained a USI you can apply for it directly here on your computer or mobile device.

You need to enter your USI as part of this Application.


Email Address

The email address you provide as part of this Application will be used for all correspondence. We recommend applicants use their own email address and that it is checked regularly.

Note: please do not use your school issued email address as this will expire when you finish school.


Identification

You need to provide an electronic copy of Birth Certificate/Passport/Australian Citizenship as part of this Application. A clear photograph of the document is sufficient.


Academic Suitability

As part of this Application you are required to provide an electronic copy of the following documents:
- Most recent school report
- Certificate IV or above Qualification (if applicable)
- State Issued Year 12 Certificate (if applicable)

Applicants who have not completed Year 12 or a Certificate IV or above Qualification may need to complete a Literacy and Numeracy Assessment. Details for this assessment will be sent individually to Applicants during the application assessment process.


Tuition Fees

The Australian College of Sport is a South Australian Government approved training provider for students to access full fee for service payment subsidy for their training (payment of tuition fees). Tuition fees for Australian College of Sport programs comprise an upfront payment for commencement and SA Government subsidy (SA Programs Only). 

Student applications for the SA Government Subsidy are done via our Program Services Centre.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

1. I agree to abide by the regulations, policies and rules of the Australian College of Sport [ACS] & its authorised parties, as they may apply to me during my period of enrolment in this Program.

2. I understand that ACS & its authorised parties comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and that information on how ACS & its authorised parties will collect, use, disclose and manage my personal information is outlined in ACS's &  its authorised parties Privacy Policies.

3. I acknowledge that during my period of study at ACS &  its authorised parties , information will be collected by ACS &  its authorised parties  about me.

4. I understand that ACS &  its authorised parties  will use my personal information for the primary purpose of managing and administering all aspects of the course of study for which I have enrolled. ACS &  its authorised parties  will also use this information to contribute to ACS's &  its authorised parties  analysis, use and publication of de-identified results which relate to quality monitoring and improvement activities.

Disclosure Consent

1. I agree/consent to ACS &  its authorised parties  disclosing my personal information to a person or body external to ACS &  its authorised parties where:
       i. Disclosure is required or permitted by law or is required to fulfill mandatory contractual reporting requirements to Commonwealth and State Government departments, statutory and regulatory bodies and their authorised agents. Examples include, but are not limited to: the Commonwealth Department of Education and Training, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Centrelink, the Australian Taxation Office.
       ii. An external person or body is engage to provide services or support to, or for, ACS &  its authorised parties , such as website hubs, database hosts, data backup service providers, and survey companies holding and/or processing my personal information on their IT systems on behalf of ACS &  its authorised parties , but only where there is a legal obligation in force between the external body or person and ACS &  its authorised parties to safeguard my information.
       iii. I am a domestic or international student and disclosure is a contractual reporting requirement to Government agencies, sponsors, exchange partners and agents.
       iv. Disclosure is to accreditation or registration bodies relevant to my program of study to verify qualifications and experience.
